    not a good deal. you have an orb with scalding hot ... not a good deal. you have an orb with scalding hot water in it, a screw top that is clumsy and doesn't open easily(I had to use jar opener mitts to get it to turn even) and a standard size egg doesn't fit so you have to use the smallest egg you can get. Then with a 1200 watt microwave using their timetable of 3.5 min for a semi soft boiled egg I came up with an egg that the yolk was overdone and the whites were hardly done at all. I love soft boiled eggs but what I got was awful. I would not recommend it to anyone. I would give it a no star rating if that was an option. 1I loved it until it blew up in my microwave I loved it until it blew up in my microwave, then friends told me it did the same to them. 1Very easy to use, eggs are perfect eggs come out great,very convenient would recommend to friends.Would be a great gift for a stocking stuffer, Should have bought the bigger one 5Much faster than boiling in a pan on the stove ... Much faster than boiling in a pan on the stove. A replacement for one used for over 4 years. 5Five Stars Great product,fast shipping 5Quality was lacking Disappointed with the quality of the product. Have used another one in the past that was far better quality. The inner container fell apart after one use. 2Good hard boiled eggs but sharp metal parts Got mine as Xmas gift. Just used it in my 700w microwave. Set for 9 mins & eggs came out perfectly. Two downsides are top is very hard to remove & also sliced my finger on egg tray when washing it before use. Razor sharp & believe me I was washing very carefully to start with because of stitches in my thumb from recent surgery. That is the main reason I wouldn't recommend this. Would have preferred a handle, but works great!! 5I really like the way the eggs turn out I really like the way the eggs turn out. However, the inner edge of the top is like a razor blade. I sliced my finger badly when I was washing it. So WATCH OUT! Maybe that inner piece is not supposed to come out for cleaning. It fell out without any effort on my part, so I tried to wash it. If the company is still making these; they need to resolve this issue. 3
