I cut half way through the first tile and the plastic caps that hold the two tubes into place broke causing the tubes to slide out of the end. I definitely stepped over a dollar to pick up a dime on this purchase.1Diddnt work for meBoth the round tubes the cutting blade/breaker run on as well as the base flex way to much to effectively break tiles easily. Was going to use for 12x24 tiles.....after trying on three of them it was clear this would not work for me. Tossed it into the garage and ordered a wet saw. It might be ok for smaller/thinner pieces of tile2Plastic at end of tubes break easily when cutting tile...Useful for a few tile cuts. The plastic caps that hold the two tubes into place broke causing the tubes to slide out of the end. 2 stars because I was able to hold the bars to still cut the tile, but it was a pain with cutting the tile with the thing broken..2Project 1 done!This was a great cheap alternative to renting one from Home Depot. Now my husband doesn't have any excuses why he can't finish tiling the entry!5Three Starshard to cut the tile.3One StarDont buy ... keep breaking the tiles1
