Unsure if my unit was defective or if it's a manufacturer's problem. 1Great Product and no electrial noise.Bought a Lutron switch and after installing there was a huge amount of interference when listening to AM radio even when both controls were in the off position. Called Lutron support and was told "yes they can do that". Purchased this one and had no interference at all. Will be purchasing another one when I install another ceiling fan. 5Great switch to replace when adding the light feature.Bought this switch to replace the fan only switch when we purchased our home. Now we have dimmer light and fan together on one switch. Works great! 5Fan/light controlsThey work well and being in the wall you never lose them. Just make sure your bulbs are dimmable. 5too big to fit in electrical boxThe unit is too thick to fit into our electrical box we were replacing another unit that was snug but fit, and this one is a bit thicker but enough to make it unworkable.Unfortunately due to construction delays we didn't discover this problem until the deadline for returning it had passed (two weeks ago), so now we're stuck with an item that's worthless to us. 2
