Four StarsI like the pen, but the nib needed some work as it was hard starting. Otherwise, no complaints.
4and I liked it. I am also very familiar with the ...This item was everything that I expected it to be. I purchased it because I had seen one that a friend had, and I liked it. I am also very familiar with the Pilot pen company and know that they make excellent high quality products. So, I was/am not really surprised that this pen is everything that it was advertised to be. However, in future I will pay extra for expedited shipping. Japan Post is certainly reliable, but SLOOOOOWWW.
4Amazing nib on a great penAmazing pen. I enjoy nib size #15 so much more than the #10. It did take some time getting used to. But there is nothing like Falcon nib (FA) out there. Vintage pens require fiddling, modern flex pens are either not truly flexible or too soft and get sprained. This one tolerates a heavier stroke, some pressure, performs beautifully for sketching...
5Five Starsgreat pen, no problems out of the box
5Very wet and broad. Kind of scratchyThe largest nib that it s equipped with doesn t write as well as the smaller nibs like the falcon nib on the Elba .
3Very good penThe fine-medium nib is absolutely great. The pen is very well balanced. If you change the ink often it is a very good replacement for the 823.The main advantage is that you have more nib options and the pen can be cleand very quick.A wonderful pen
5Well worth the money. The posting nib may be Pilot's most elusive nib. It is only available on three models of pen and it is not currently offered by Pilot in the United States. This pen was sold by a pen shop in Japan and I am glad that they made it available through Amazon. The posting nib was designed to be used on cheap paper and I have found it to work very well on the poor quality paper that most paperwork comes on. It even handles post-it paper better than any fountain pen I have ever tried. Note that I have been using the pen exclusively with Sailor Kiwa-Guro, so the pairing may be what makes things work. Anyhow, the Custom 743 with the Posting nib has rapidly become one of my favorite pens, It is something that I am always reaching for when I need to fill out paperwork.
5Just Get it - great all round nib.Great pen. the con70 hold a lot of ink Nib smooth out of the box. But that has been my general experience with pilots at all price points. Waverlys are great for note taking. Very smooth nib.
5very nice pen. The Waverley nib has an interestingQuick delivery, and a very, very nice pen. The Waverley nib has an interesting, unusual shape, and is very nice and smooth (line width is approximately fine-medium). The pen also feels solid, luxurious, and has an excellent fit and finish. Great product by Pilot!
5Modern Flex nibGreat Fountain pen. Most Flex nib with a quite varied line weights I've ever used and I've mostly used (I've not used Vintage nibs).
