Do you use a brush over-and-over again?
For the price this is a good brush. I've heard some people use a brush or roller and throw them away, while others take the time to clean their tools and extend the cost over more time and more uses. This brush will do what you want it to do. I found that after one use, it's obivious that it's been used. Perhaps, spending a little more money would get you a brush that you could use for years, while this may last only a few months if you're using it to paint the interior of a house or other big project. If you're going to put this product to a lot of use, then you might consider spending a little more for another brush, or not?
3Great Value!
This is a thick straight brush. Painting with an oil based marine paint; I didn't lose one bristle. The brush has an even flow, and is thick so it holds a good amount of paint. I will be using this for AwlGrip paint this weekend, and i am not worried about the solvents effecting the bristles' performance.
5Nice brush at disposable price range
Quality is less than the real Wooster brushes you see at hardware stores for $12.50-$14.00HOWEVER this one is about a buck or two more than the "good" rated ones you see at home depot or lowes. Quality is substantially better than home depot and lowes "good" marked brushes (aka disposable brushes). Less of the hairs of the brush fall out, and brush strokes are better than those as well.Works well for applying MinWax Polyshades which is a mix of stain and poly clearcoat.Great value overall, highly recommended for the price!
5Not ideal for Shellac but okay
hard to clean; gunked up with shellac but I guess it's okay.
3Paint brush made from roadkill?
This bush shed quite a lot and smelled like a dead animal. I had to toss it after a few minutes of use. Seriously. The smell alone conjured images of festering roadkill on a hot sunny day.
1As expected
What a paint brush is supposed to be. Not much to critique here.
4Quality Brush At An Economy Price
I have several painting projects and don't want the aggravation of cleaning an expensive brush. My local hardware store wants almost twice the price for their "economy brush" which is junk. The Wooster Brush is perfect for my needs. It's a quality brush that doesn't leave streaks and is easily cleaned to use again. Why bother? The price is so cheap I just trash it and use a new brush for my next job.
5Five Stars
It did the job for my kitchen backsplash.
5I'd rather spend more money to get a better and more reliable product
Bristles fell off while I was painting and attached themelves to the wall. I'd rather spend more money to get a better and more reliable product.
1Four Stars
Not the best but not that bad. Price was right too.
